About Trinity:
In a suburb outside of Houston, Trinity Dayton was born and raised until adolescence in The Woodlands, Tx. When she was 13 years old, her family relocated to East Texas. In 2017, she graduated from Panola Charter School and shortly after attended Sam Houston State University. After completing her freshman year, she decided to move back to East Texas and complete her required degree basics at Panola Community College. In the fall of 2019, she transferred to Texas State University located in San Marcos. Up until this point, she was unsure what career path she should take, so she applied to The University Star. She was initially hired as a public relations assistant for the college newspaper and later began writing for the life and arts section. While at the University Star, she covered topics such as local music, musicals and the environment. Finding a love and passion for writing, she changed her major to English with a minor in Theater to pursue a career in Journalism. She is expected to graduate Spring 2022.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature from hiking the trails of San Marcos to floating the River. She is also an avid film watcher from comedies, to dramas and even musicals, occasionally bursting into song.
